Closing Retreat/ Outing Thurs. April 26, 10am-2pm

Join us for an outing to celebrate the end of classes, the beginning of reading period, and the wonder of Spring. We will meet at the Sparks House on Thurs. April 26th at 10am, share some coffee and snacks, and go over to the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain to walk around and check out the Lilacs that are now blossoming. We will then share lunch together, and a closing/ sending off prayer time to ask for God’s blessings and continued guidance through the ending of the term and the beginning of summer. In honor of this new beginning, we will return anew to that beloved fireside at Sparks House (see directions tab)- to kick off our weekly community building among fellow graduate students. We’ll share some snacks together as the fire crackles, catch up with each other, and focus in on some core aspects of having a rooted yet progressive faith in the midst of this busy academic landscape. Come if you’ve never come before, and feel free to bring a friend – all are welcome, wherever you are on the journey of faith. Also, see our Spring Term schedule and mark yours. Last Lunch of the Term: Weds 12/14 1pm

We will gather at Sparks House this Wednesday 12/14 at 1pm to share together in one last Graduate Student Lunch. We will likely go together over to the Design school or somewhere nearby to share in a lunch together (feel free to bring along a brown-bag if you’d prefer). This will be a nice way to send each other off before the end of this Term. My prayers are with you as you finish exams and papers and all that is happening in your lives at this busy time. Remember to keep a watchful and prayerful eye out for the One who is Born into our midst once again…
